Artists, ages 16+, enter a work for our Fall Art Show!
Registration required.
Entries due to the branch Monday, October 2nd- Friday, October 6th.

For this Art Show, we'll have a theme with a prompt and materials to include.
Prompt: "What do we do when days get short and nights get cool?"
Materials/subjects to incorporate: visual image, text, fabric

Create an original work to share at our Fall Art Show at Pacific Branch on Friday, October 6th, 5:30-7:30. The first hour, 5:30-6:30pm, will be a chance for artists to enjoy each other's pieces and light refreshments. The second hour, 6:30-7:30pm, will be open for public viewing.

Pick Up Supplies for Tiny Art Show - Hermann

Pick up your supplies by January 31st and make your own art inspired by the Robert Frost poem “Winter Eden”. Drop off your artwork by February 1st to be displayed until February 26th in the library. Opening reception with themed crafts will be held Monday February 26th at 4:00pm.

Poetry Reading with Local Poet Julianne King- Pacific Branch

Julianne King is a mother, poet, and essayist who writes about the intersections of faith, family, mental health, and politics in the changing political climate of the United States. King's collections Bible Belt Revolution and Sex Work & Other Sins are currently available. Her works have also appeared in the South Florida Poetry Journal, Snapdragon: A Journal of Art and Healing, the anthologies Turning the Corner, Astonishing Poetry, Remarkable Poetry, and others. King lives in Pacific, Missouri with her partner and six children.

This program will consist of a poetry reading by the author, book sales, and book signing.
Because poetry contains mature themes and subject matter, this event is for adults 18+.
